Remembering Taylor Patterson

The Taylor Patterson Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing scholarships for those entering the dental field. This foundation was created in memory of Taylor Patterson, who passed away at the age of 30 after a courageous two-year battle with breast cancer.

Despite enduring chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and radiation, Taylor never lost her beautiful smile or her determination to live life to the fullest. She refused to let cancer define her and was passionate about encouraging young women to be proactive about their health—often reminding them to check their “ta-tas,” as she lovingly put it.

Our mission is to honor Taylor’s legacy by supporting aspiring dental professionals and helping them grow in their careers, just as Taylor would have wanted.

Taylor loved her career as a dental assistant, always striving to make patients feel at ease during their visits. She was a firm believer in educating people about oral health and its connection to overall well-being.

Her journey to becoming a certified dental assistant wasn’t easy. Taylor faced challenges with attention deficit disorder and dyslexia, but she never let them hold her back. She worked tirelessly to achieve her goals, guided by her favorite scripture:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

Just as Taylor never gave up, our foundation is committed to encouraging and empowering students who share her passion for dentistry. Through scholarships and support, we aim to keep Taylor’s smile shining bright in the lives of others.
